One Week Away!

We are now only 1 week away from the first distribution of the 2013 season!! We hope that you’re excited as we are!!

Until then, 2 reminders:

1. We will be having one last information meeting & sign up event TOMORROW, June 4th at the Grand Concourse Seventh Day Adventist Temple (1275 Grand Concourse at 169th st). The meeting will take place from 5:30-7 pm, but there is no need to get there exactly at 5:30 or to stay for the entire time. If you’re on the fence about joining or just want to know what we’re all about come ask questions and learn more!

2. If you are interested in signing up, please do so ASAP and don’t forget to send in your 10% deposit (even members using SNAP).

Sign-Up Event

Calling all future (possible) Bronx CSA members!!

We will be having another sign up event TOMORROWTuesday, April 30th at our distribution center the Grand Concourse Seventh Day Adventist Temple ( 1275 Grand Concourse at 169th st) from 5-7:30 pm. Once again, there is no need to get there exactly at 5pm or to stay for the entire time.

General Information Meeting

Come learn more about the Bronx CSA at our first General Info Meeting of the season!

The meeting will be this Thursday, April 18th at our distribution site, The Grand Concourse Seventh Day Adventist Temple ( 1275 Grand Concourse at 169th st.). It will take place from 5:30-7pm, but there is no need to get there exactly at 5:30 or stay for the entire time!

We will be discussing basic CSA information such as distribution, share prices, and the types of produce that can be expected. We will also be going over any questions you may have.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a community and a local farm. This provides the community with healthy, local produce at a price cheaper than the grocery store.

Why is this CSA Affordable?

Our prices are based on income levels so that our produce is affordable for everyone. And we accept food stamps (SNAP benefits).

For more information on the Bronx CSA, join us at our information session on Wednesday April 6th, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the High Bridge Library, 78 West 168th Street at Woodycrest in the Bronx.
